[The first of four viewpoints to be posted about how to achieve vibrant health.] When people come to doctors they want to end up feeling better and to no longer have symptoms. Laboratory tests and other assessments give valuable information, each test dealing with one aspect of the human being and their function.

However, this essay when completed will remind readers that the human being is more than a single organ system and also more than a physical entity. The energies that run through the body are influenced by the mind and also by the energies and assumptions of the people around them. Neuroscientists have been researching the many ways that health is affected by energies and relationships (and much more).

Do not be fooled into thinking that lab tests and western medical diagnosis terms provide all the information needed to move forward to full health.

 This essay when completed will mention Quantum Physics and the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle which is now being applied to understanding medical situations as well as nuclear physics. Physics has shown us that electrons are not single points but exist as a field of possibilities. Physiology and neuroscience have been showing us that millions of processes in the body are taking place simultaneously. People need to know that each aspect of the human life has a role in overall health, and that when someone seeks to find "what is wrong with me?," the answer is that the entire person is involved in the situation and that all aspects can benefit from attention and treatment. These aspects are within what I call the Three Control Systems that you have to manage your life.

There is grave danger in focusing only on laboratory testing or other assessments or treatments of a physical nature. The human being has several aspects that can be simultaneously supported.
