Iridology is a term that refers to the observations of doctors through the centuries that the eyes are important sources of information about health. This began with reports of Chinese doctors in ancient China that there are connections between the eyes and the rest of the body. Modern technology now gives us the opportunity to carefully document the microcircuitry that connects the many parts of the body.
My approach to iridology includes the positive neuro-emotional correlations such as were popularized in the Rayid(TM) system. This is much more empowering than the older system of iridology that focuses on "what is wrong." Discovering one's strengths as well as the possible challenges that they may be prone to is much more supportive.
I have been a member of the International Iridology Practitioners Association (IIPA), and am advocating for more research into iridology.
